Our Story: From Transportation To Transformation

Owens LTD Land Tree & Debris LLC is a locally owned forestry mulching company based out of Palatka, Florida, proudly serving landowners throughout North Florida and the surrounding areas. While forestry mulching is what we're known for today, the company didn't originally start in the land management industry.

Before transitioning into forestry mulching, Owens LTD operated as Owens Transport LLC, hauling open deck and flatbed freight, boats, vehicles, and other equipment across the lower 48 states. After spending more than 12 years over the road, owner Brandon Owens decided it was time to pursue a career that allowed him to stay closer to home while building something of his own.

The transition into forestry mulching started after hiring a mulching contractor to clean up personal property. Watching overgrown land transformed into clean, usable space sparked a genuine interest in the industry and the equipment behind it. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion. Before long, that passion became a business built around helping property owners improve, maintain, and reclaim their land.

Throughout the journey, Brandon's wife and their two boys have been a major source of support and motivation behind the business. From the long hours and challenges of building a company to the rewarding moments of helping customers transform their properties, Owens LTD has always been built around hard work, family values, and creating a better future close to home.

Today, Owens LTD combines that same appreciation for hard work, efficiency, and equipment operation with a strong focus on customer service and practical land management solutions. From overgrown brush and palmettos to fence lines, trails, and general property cleanup, our goal is to provide dependable service while helping customers get more use and value out of their property.
